Info for 7s Qualifying Club and Team Admins
7s Qualifying Club and Team Admins,
We will have online roster entry via Rugby Xplorer (RX) for the Teams entering the Qualifiers as well as their second side Teams. Teams are being created in RX for 7s qualifying Teams (only). This is being done so that (a) rosters will be easier to process for Nationals, (b) 7s Teams rosters will be separate from a Club’s 15s Teams, and (c) standard senior club naming will help with RX setup for the National Championship.

Club Admins MUST add Team Admins to the new Teams; they are NOT the same as your 15s Team Admins. How? Easy…
1. In RX, navigate to Administration -> User Management. Search for an individual by email or name.
2. Click on the person’s account.
3. Select permission from the dropdown list, i.e., ‘Team Admin’.
4. Click “Add Role”.
5. Select the W7s or M7s Team from dropdown.
6. Click “Save Changes” (MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS).

Make sure you identify the correct team by locating the Team name with a W7s or M7s descriptor. This process MUST be done in order to see your 7s teams and add players to your roster. You can have more than one Team Admin.
Just like in 15s, remember that you have to create a Squad of available players before you put them into a Team. If you haven’t done this before, see https://rugby.org/registration/#squads
Do NOT edit Team names or add your own Team. If you would like to request a Team name change, please contact davidc@rugby.org. If you have already added a team (unlikely), we may edit the Team name to match USAR RX naming conventions.
Rosters will allow 13 players per USAR Senior Club policies. The 13-player roster must be submitted by 6 PM EDT the Friday before the tournament. Rosters will be open when the tournament begins and will be locked at some point during the day.
Each individual on the roster must be checked in at the tournament (i.e., physically present with proof of identity). If not, that player will be removed.
While we will be doing the rosters in RX, the tournaments will not do live scoring updates in RX at this time.
